One of the things that makes Custom Business Services so unique is the wealth of experience and knowledge that each of our Residential Members bring to the Co-op. These customer-focused business professionals are experts in their respective fields of accounting & finance, health & life insurance, leadership & development, child care, and marketing & advertising. They each offer a number of classes/seminars here at the Co-op that are open to the public and business community, and they also offer their support, advice, and referrals to those who join us as an Associate Member. Read below for a detailed description of each of our Residential Members. 

Custom Accounting Services, Inc. is the premier small business resource for all industries. Their professional and knowledgeable staff have years of experience and training in all phases of accounting and business advisement. 

CAS services range from basic Bookkeeping and Payroll Services to Business Development and Consulting on all the issues you face in this constantly changing economy. With more staff and wide spread experience they are able to offer even greater services to you.

Their staff includes Kim Manrow, a Licensed Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, a tax professional licensed in all 50 states; offering advisement and assistance with the IRS and State, not to mention professional and affordable tax preparation services. Their firm is also authorized to electronically file all returns, verify employment eligibility, and is a Certified Acceptance Agent for the IRS.

Kim Manrow, President of Custom Accounting Services, is also the creator of Custom Business Services, a concept of which she has always dreamed. She developed CBS to provide a series of educational and maximizing opportunities for all business owners and community members.

G. Chipman Insurance Agency, Inc. has been offering comprehensive health insurance for individuals and small/large groups since 2003, and is contracted to MVP, Excellus BC/BS, and United Health Insurance.

They are an independent agency and because of this they do the shopping for you. They coordinate your budget with the maximum coverage. They also offer low cost health insurance through the Healthcore Healthy NY program. If you meet the program’s qualifications they can provide you access to the lowest cost health insurance available in New York State.

G. Chipman Insurance Agency offers training classes, workshops, and seminars for those approaching the age of 65 and who want to prepare to meet the changes in their health care and long care needs. They believe you should have a plan in place before you need the coverage.

Child Care Solutions is a Child Care Resource & Referral agency serving Onondaga and Cayuga Counties. Since 1975 they have worked to promote early learning, healthy development and high quality care for all children through education, advocacy and support for families and early childhood professionals. Their services include:  parent referrals, consumer information and parenting assistance; classes, consultation and start-up assistance for early childhood programs and providers; and data collection to understand local child care needs. They believe that good early care and education supports families and local businesses and is an investment in children’s long-term success in school and in life.
